Important points for installing ipe decking
* The clips also act as spacers. These create a gap of approximately 8mm. Ensure that the clips fit snugly into the groove of the boards.
* Tighten the screws in one smooth motion and do not stop halfway. If you stop halfway, the risk of the screw breaking increases. Thanks to the special drill point and the use of a good (impact) screwdriver, pre-drilling is not necessary; the screws screw effortlessly into the wood.
* The clips also act as spacers. These create a gap of approximately 8mm. Ensure that the clips fit snugly into the groove of the boards.
