Steel door with side element
We are very satisfied with the steel door with side element that we installed with a friend. We chose a Pivot steel door because it opens to both sides, which is ideal for our hall. First, the side element was glued to the wall, floor and ceiling. We then installed the door by drilling pivot hinges into the floor and into the ceiling. We used the shims that come with it to raise the door slightly so that the horizontal beams are level everywhere. We really like the end result.
