Different applications with fence

Roof terrace

Do you have a beautiful roof terrace on your flat, and would you like to surround it, go for hardwood fences. You can determine the height and density of your terrace yourself.

However, look carefully in advance where you want to attach them. This way, you can first place the hardwood posts in the correct spots. And from there you can finish it off with planks.

Make sure that you pre-drill all the Hardwood first. This will prevent cracks and you will get a nice and smooth finished end result.

Balcony

Impregnated gates

These gates will not last as long as hardwood, but it will save you money. Impregnated wood and fences are wood which has been treated with a salt solution making it resistant to rot and mould.

This wood will not change colour over the years but you can choose to paint these fences and gates. Impregnated wood is often used for smaller garden fences.

Metal gates

Stainless steel gates

These gates can be made in 2 different ways, graceful or fixed modern.

When you choose this material, remember that this gate will be very heavy. It therefore requires a good suspension between your fences.

Aluminium gates

If you choose an aluminium gate, it will be easy to open and close. Aluminium is very light. Also, this material does not need to be treated. The material itself is resistant to rust, rot and warping. It also does not discolour when exposed to UV rays.

The disadvantage of aluminium is limited. You cannot, for example, have a beautiful decorative gate made of aluminium between your fences. Simply because aluminium cannot be cast in all shapes.

This is the case with stainless steel. Aluminium also has an expensive price.

Appropriate design
